By accessing and using the “Website” of Michael Cycles and Recycles, you are agreeing to be bound exclusively by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must stop using the website immediately. These terms and conditions apply to the goods and services offered by the company to you, and by ordering, you are agreeing to be bound by them. Your statutory rights as a customer are not affected by any part of these terms and conditions.

Michael Cycles and Recycles can supply an external bin to UK mainland addresses only.

Descriptions & Advice

The pictures and drawings featured on this website are solely for the purpose of demonstrating the product and service as accurately as possible.

Age of Consent

By placing an order, you are confirming that you are of the legal age to do so. If it is discovered that you are not legally allowed to order our service, we reserve the right to terminate all account privileges immediately and without warning. We will not be obligated to fulfil the order.

Customer Responsibility

At the time of registration / order please notify Michael Cycles and Recycles of any special delivery instructions. On delivery of your External or Internal bin please inspect them for damage and notify Michael Cycles and Recycles within 3 working days.

Collection Disclaimer

Drivers have the right to refuse the pickup of bags if they are deemed inappropriate for collection.

Price per Tonne

Any price shown or offered is for use on this website only and those prices quoted are valid at the date of collection. Michael Cycles and Recycles reserve the right at any time to adjust the prices shown on this website without any notice or notification.

Payment

Payment will be made within 14 working days.

Delivery

The external textile bin or internal cardboard bin will be delivered either by our own drivers or a contracted, registered delivery company. The timeframe for delivery of these bins will depend on the current stock availability.

External Bin

Upon request, Michael Cycles and Recycles will provide and deliver an external textile bin to the customer at no cost. The bin will remain the property of Michael Cycles and Recycles during transportation, delivery, and use. It must be placed in a secure area at the customer’s address on a level, hard standing surface with sufficient access for use. It must not be placed on grass or an uneven surface, and must have direct access for service collectors and bin removal company. If these requirements are not met, the customer may be charged.

Michael Cycles and Recycles reserves the right to remove the bin from the customer’s site with one week’s written notice.

Internal Bin

At the customer’s request, Michael Cycles and Recycles will provide and deliver an internal cardboard textile bin free of charge. The bin will remain the property of Michael Cycles and Recycles during transportation, delivery, and use. It must be placed in a secure area inside the registered participant’s address, and not outside.

External and Internal Bin Collections

Michael Cycles and Recycles will collect material from either the external or internal bin within 14 working days of receiving notification. We will try to reduce this time frame if possible. There is no communication between the registered participant and the collector when a collection is booked. Wet material cannot be collected, and failure to comply with this may result in a failed collection and no payment.

Bin Performance

Michael Cycles and Recycles will check the external and internal bin performance every 3 months or 90 days. If the bin does not reach the minimum target of 800kg per 12 months, we will contact the registered participant to encourage the use of the bin and our service. If the performance is still below the target after 3 months, we will send a letter to inform the registered participant that we will remove the external bin from the site within 7 days. We reserve the right to change or amend the minimum kilogram target at any time.

Bag Collection

Our Bag Collection Service is free of charge and comes with a Digital Collection Pack. This service is available throughout the UK.

Quality and Material Accepted

Michael Cycles and Recycles will inspect the quality of the materials collected from external bins, internal bins, and bag collections on a regular basis.

We accept the following wearable items:

√ All men’s, ladies and children’s clothing

√ Paired Shoes (tied together)

√ Handbags, bags, ties and belts

Michael Cycles and Recycles cannot accept and pay for the following items:

X Duvets both synthetic and feathered

X Pillows & cushions

X Carpets & Rugs

X Soiled or wet clothing

X Workwear

X Uniforms (including School Uniforms)

X Shredded or mutilated textile material

X Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material

X Household linen & towels

If any of the above items are contained within your collection they will be weighed and you will be informed of any discrepancies. We reserve the right to deduct these weights from subsequent payments.

If you would like to receive information about products and deals that may be of interest to you, please check the box during the ordering process. You may be contacted by email, mail, phone, or other reasonable means of communication.

By using this website, you agree to indemnify both parties from any claims, losses, expenses, or liabilities that may arise from your misuse or illegal use of the website or the server it is hosted on, including but not limited to any spamming activity, defamatory statements, use of pornography, or infringement of intellectual property or other third-party rights that you are responsible for.

Severance

The validity of each part of these Terms & Conditions of Use shall be considered separately and independently, and none shall be affected by the validity of any other.

You agree to use this Website only in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Use and for legitimate purposes. You guarantee that all information you provide us is true, accurate, up-to-date, and complete, and you will notify us immediately of any changes to the information.

Indemnity

You agree to immediately reimburse us, our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers for any claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms & Conditions of Use or any other liabilities arising out of your use of the Website.

Limitation of Liability

We provide the Web site on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the Web site will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

We are not responsible for any loss of material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.

We are not liable for any consequential or economic loss, or any special or indirect losses, arising from the use of the Website or the supply of goods.

This does not exclude liability for breach of contract in the supply of goods where the limit of our liability shall be the purchase price of the goods.
