Notice and information to public (Related to Door to Door (Streetwise) Collections)

Dear Member of Public,

We wish to inform you, we are not a part or a registered Charity nor we are involved with any charitable organisation. We collect textiles (Used Clothing) by way of providing logistic and collections services to the shops of Charitable organisation, Hospice's, councils and other community sites.

We recently have discovered there are few bogus collectors operating Door to door (Streetwise) collections of Used Second Hand Clothing by distributing leaflets in our name stating we are performing collecting on behalf of few charities.

We have made several police complains in few counties of United Kingdom of Great Britain and are constantly working with police on this issue and are trying our level best to stop this sort of illegal collection.

This is to inform the public at large that "Fortune International Ltd, Unit 5 Shuttleworth Road, Bedford MK41 0EP" or its associate companies do not conduct any house to house collections on behalf of any charities.

If you receive any leaflets or bags through your door step requesting donation of clothing, toys, bric or brac etc involving us with any of the charities like "Orphan & Community Aid", "Children’s Welfare Foundation" and "African Orphans UK" indicating Fortune International Ltd is the collector for the above charity, please take the matter very serious and inform the police in your area as this is an illegal collection.
